This was purchased to create that 1930s-40s look, and wow! I only cinched down 1" to get a feel for it (and based on instructions for corset wearing). With no experience it only took a few minutes to lace up which will only get quicker with time. The quality and fabric is amazing, and your posture will be fabulous! The sizing chart is spot on so long as you measure yourself correctly.

I got this to make breast feeding this season easier than my steel boned leather corset I usually wear to fairs. It's a good beginner corset. Comfortable, long term wear easy. I LOATHE this type of clasp, but it's pretty generic in Amazon corsets. For the price, the quality is decent, I could see getting a few seasons out of this easy. The leather is "suede" in texture and the boning supportive but definitely not what I'm used to. It doesn't break like plastic ones but it doesn't keep you taut either. You can bend in it lol. I would say it's pretty true to size as well.
